Users can now take on exploration challenges including the “Memorial Day Weekend Challenge” to earn badges
Cleveland Metroparks today rolled out new features on the Cleveland Metroparks mobile app just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Users of the app can now earn over two dozen badges through exploration challenges including the Memorial Day Weekend Challenge.
Additional new features allow users to create their “My Cleveland Metroparks” account, check-in at locations including park reservations or destinations like the brand-new Noshery at Huntington Reservation, share adventures on social media, as well as save their favorite events, trails and attractions.
“The Cleveland Metroparks mobile app not only helps you find your path, it’s also a way to challenge yourself to take on new adventures across the Emerald Necklace,” said Kelly Manderfield, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer. “Starting today, you can now create your own account, save your favorite trails and locations, and take on challenges to earn adventure badges.”
Cleveland Metroparks free mobile app has already been downloaded by more than 22,000 users. The app is part of the
Find Your Path campaign, launched in April 2021, to encourage exploration and inclusivity across the Park District’s more than 24,000 acres.
In addition to the new features, app users have access to new maps of all 18 park reservations to find trails, attractions and hidden gems, as well as upcoming programming and events across Cleveland Metroparks reservations, golf courses, restaurants, retail locations and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
