Enjoy the beauty of Cleveland Metroparks on this short nature hike while learning about and being guided through basic mindfulness practices. This inclusive experience is open to individuals of all abilities and is tailored to those with sensory processing sensitivity. If you have specific questions or would like to discuss your abilities, please call us prior to the program: 216-341-1704 (Monday-Friday).
The entire program will be spent outside; please dress appropriately for the weather. Dressing in non-cotton layers is encouraged. Classes will begin promptly, so plan to arrive early. Thanks to a grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, an all-terrain
Action Trackchair is available to the first person requesting use of the chair. Thanks to a grant from the CCBDD, a
GRIT Freedom Chair is also available. An Action Trackchair and GRIT Freedom Chair are both designed to allow guests with disabilities to have access to a variety of trail terrain. Contact Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Recreation at 216-341-1704 or email
[email protected] to reserve the chair or discuss any disability related needs.
If anyone in your party would benefit from program modifications due to a disability, please let us know. If you have specific questions about the program, equipment, or adaptations, please email
