“I am less now that he is gone, and so are all of you.”
We didn't get as much time with Colin as we wish but his unforgettable spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of the innumerable people he touched. He was hilarious, wicked smart, charming and quick witted. He could quote any movie and laughed with his whole body in a way that was contagious.
He was selfless, goofy, gentle, patient and always a peacemaker. The best son, brother, uncle, friend and teacher anyone could ask for. He was a huge Cleveland sports fan (yep, even the Browns) and could often be found at the Cavs or Guardians games cheering for the city he loved.
Whether he was draining a 3 pointer so his students could have a dress down day, building a computer from nothing but parts, winning big in fantasy football or chipping in an epic 50 foot shot at little met golf course, he was truly anything but ordinary.
“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Until we meet again Col, we will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.
Colin's tree was planted June 2024 near Mastick Woods Golf Course Clubhouse.
