Cleveland Metroparks gratefully acknowledges the family and friends of David Neece for their contribution to the Legacy Fund. This gift supports reforestation of Cleveland Metroparks.
  
David loved Cleveland Metroparks, particularly Rocky River Reservation. Throughout his life he spent many hours there, playing as child, and later taking pictures of the beautiful scenery and simply driving along Valley Parkway. He even bought a house near the Puritas Road entrance to Rocky River Reservation!

Memories of David as a boy helping his Grandpa David plant a maple tree came flooding back to his family when looking through old pictures and thinking about the kind, gentle soul he was. A sugar maple tree planted near Mastick Woods at the North Mastick Picnic Area seemed like the most fitting thing to do to honor his memory. 

With deep gratitude, the Neece family thanks everyone who made the planting of this tree possible.
