Premiering the first Monday of each month, episodes will feature Brian accompanied by special guests across the Park District's award-winning team as well as key community partners and leaders in Northeast Ohio.

Cleveland Metroparks features over 125 miles of paved trails that connect communities but arguably the most scenic trails in the Emerald Necklace are the remaining 210 miles of “natural surface trails” that meander through, climb up and bridge over some of the most primitive areas of the Park District. Hear from Jim Rodstrom, Director of Construction, on the art of building sustainable trails for mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking & even for use by the wildlife that live here.


JTX_-5201.jpgJim Rodstrom serves as Director of Construction for Cleveland Metroparks and is responsible for design and construction of park district infrastructure, stormwater management, facility, and trail capital projects. Jim is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio, a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Tinkers Creek Watershed Partners. In addition to construction oversight, he also oversees the park district Forestry operations and Fleet Management division.
