Non-Discrimination

The Chief Executive Officer for Cleveland Metroparks has adopted a policy acknowledging that Cleveland Metroparks operates its programs, services, and activities without regard to race, color, religion, age, national origin, national ancestry, sex, pregnancy, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, military service or veteran status, mental or physical disability, or genetic information, in accordance with the following:

  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964;
  • Section 13 of the 1972 Amendments to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act;
  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973;
  • Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990;
  • The Age Discrimination Act of 1975; and
  • Executive Order 13166.

The following people have been designated to handle inquiries regarding Cleveland Metroparks’ non-discrimination policies (including requests for accommodation or translation), to receive discrimination/ harassment complaints from members of the community, and to monitor Cleveland Metroparks’ compliance with state and federal non-discrimination laws and regulations:
