Course Policies & Rules

    • Tee time reservations are accepted 12 days in advance.
    • A credit card will be required for weekend and holiday tee times. The credit card is for reservation purposes only and will NOT be charged.
    • Single tee time reservations will NOT be accepted online. Single golfers are required to call the golf shop for reservations. Booking online tee times for multiple players and arriving as a single will result in loss of online booking privileges and full no-show fees.
    • Tee time cancelation policy is 24 hours in advance. Groups that do not cancel and no-show their tee time will result in full no-show fees. No-show tee times will be tracked and will result in the loss of online booking privileges and full no-show fees.
    • If you have booked a reservation for less than four golfers, you may be paired with a walk-on golfer or other group.
    • On weekends and holidays before noon, only 18-hole reservations will be accepted.
    • Golfers with starting times must be paid, ready, and report to the Starter at least 10 minutes prior to the reservation, or this may result in delayed tee time.
    • Groups of 12 or more will need to book tee times through the course PGA Professionals or Clubhouse Manager by calling the course clubhouse.

    • Golfers who purchase a power or push cart agree to the Cleveland Metroparks terms and conditions for their use.
    • Power cart drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license. Proper I.D. is required upon request.
    • A maximum of two riders and two golf bags are permitted in a power cart.
    • Power carts MUST always be kept at least 30 feet from the greens.
    • Hand carts must be kept off putting greens, green collars and tee boxes.
    • Power cart drivers are liable for any damage or bodily harm caused by the cart, and to the cart.
    • Cart rental fees are PER PERSON, NOT PER CART
    • We respect your decision to ride alone, however, you will be charged for two cart fees if you wish to ride alone.

    The objective of this policy is to ensure as many guests as possible can enjoy Cleveland Metroparks Golf Courses. We ask all golfers to responsibly manage their reservations by making cancellations or modifications as early as possible.

    Cancellation and Modification Guidelines

    • Cancellations and modifications can be made through Cleveland Metroparks’ online tee time booking engine up to 3 hours before your scheduled tee time.

    • For changes within 3 hours of your scheduled tee time, please contact the course directly.

    No-Show Fees

    Golfers who fail to cancel or modify reservations at least 1 hour before their scheduled start time will be subject to the fee schedule below. These fees also apply to reduced player counts and unapproved modifications to tee time reservations. The individual who schedules the tee time is responsible for all No-Show fees within the tee time reservation.

    Fee Schedule

    • Manakiki, Sleepy Hollow - $10 per person

    • Big Met, Ironwood, Seneca, Shawnee Hills - $5 per person

    • Little Met, Mastick Woods, Washington - $3 per person

    Additional Information

    • A valid credit card is required when booking a tee time through Cleveland Metroparks’ online booking engine.

    • Cart fees are not included in the amount “Due at Course” until added at check-in.

    • Rain checks will be issued on a prorated basis per holes played. For example, if you purchased 9-holes and completed three (3) holes you will get a rain check for six (6) holes.
    • Rain checks can only be redeemed at the course where the rain check was issued and will expire at the end of the calendar year. Rain checks can only be redeemed once, no credit will be given if the full amount of the rain check is not redeemed.
    • If inclement weather causes players to cancel the round, players are eligible for a refund if they have not started. Once players have started, they are eligible for a rain check only.
    • During severe weather, lightning or thunder, greens fees are not sold and players are not permitted to start.
    • Rain checks are ONLY issued for inclement weather.
    • Out-of-town players may apply for a refund check.

    • Each golfer must have a receipt from the cashier.
    • Each golfer must have clubs.
    • Fivesomes or more are not permitted on the golf course at any time.
    • Holes must be played in sequence.
    • Players should not hit until the players in front are out of range.
    • The Starter will group golfers into foursomes whenever possible.
    • Playing more than one golf ball per golfer is NOT permitted on the golf course.
    • The golfer is responsible for any damage or bodily harm caused by the ball or club, or to rental equipment.
    • Cleveland Metroparks is not responsible for injuries on the golf course. Play is at your own risk.

    • Proper golf attire and footwear must be worn at all times. (Metal spikes, high heels, sharp heels, lug shoes, knobby rubber spikes or shoes are not permitted).

    • Cleveland Metroparks offers junior and senior rates, except on holidays and weekends before 2 pm. The rates do not apply to outings and tournaments. The Tuesday following Columbus Day senior, junior and fall rates are in effect every day.
    • The senior rate is for players 60 years or older. Proper I.D. must be shown upon request.
    • The junior rate is for players 17 years or younger. Proper I.D. must be shown upon request.
    • Golfers 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult while on Cleveland Metroparks golf properties.

    • Alcohol must be purchased from the concession facility. Carry-on alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
    • Coolers are not permitted on the golf courses (except for medical reasons).

    • Play "ready golf." Be prepared for each shot and keep up with the group directly ahead. Cleveland Metroparks par time is 2 1/4 hours for 9 holes and 4 1/2 hours for 18 holes. Approximately 15 minutes per hole.
    • Replace divots, repair ball marks and rake sand traps.
    • 18-hole players should break for only five minutes upon completion of the front nine. A longer break could result in the loss of access to the #10 tee.
    • All golfers are responsible for creating an environment reflective of the personal integrity and respect documented in USGA’s Rules of Golf and Cleveland Metroparks’ Dignity and Respect for All policy, including refraining from: using obscenities; harassing, threatening, verbally or physically abusing any employee, golfer, or visitor; and engaging in discrimination against any employee, golfer, or visitor
    • Golfers may not act in such a way as to interfere with the ability of any employee, golfer, or visitor to use the golf course for its intended purpose or perform their job; golfers shall comply with reasonable requests from course staff so as to facilitate use of the golf course by all employees, golfers, and visitors
