Cleveland Metroparks today announced that all eight golf courses across the Emerald Necklace are officially open for the 2023 season and revealed several key tournament and event dates for golfers of all ages and abilities. New for 2023, Cleveland Metroparks also unveiled CrossCountry Mortgage’s Bonus Rounds Loyalty Program where golfers can sign up to receive discounts and perks at all eight courses.
“As of today, all eight Cleveland Metroparks golf courses are officially open for the 2023 season,” said Cleveland Metroparks Director of Golf Operations Damian Cosby. “From lessons and camps to amateur tournaments and special events like Moonlight Golf, Cleveland Metroparks has a golf opportunity for all ages and abilities in 2023. This year, we’re also proud to partner with the Northern Ohio Golf Association on the inaugural Ohio Adaptive Open at Seneca Golf Course, designed to celebrate competitors with various disabilities in a championship-level tournament.”
Thanks to a relatively mild winter, golfers have already played more than 11,000 rounds this year across Cleveland Metroparks courses. Since 2020, golf has continued to draw a high rate of play with approximately 300,000 rounds played annually at the Park District's eight courses, up 35% from pre-pandemic levels.
For the 2023 golf season, Cleveland Metroparks has also launched an updated Bonus Rounds program presented by CrossCountry Mortgage. Make Cleveland Metroparks your home course and sign-up for
