Yes. Cleveland Metroparks police are state-certified law enforcement officers who exercise full police powers both within and adjacent to the Park District. Police have the same authority to arrest as municipal police officers. Police officers are on-duty 24-hours a day, year-round, patrolling parklands on foot, in vehicles, on horseback, and on bicycles.
