1.LS.1: Living things have basic needs, which are met by obtaining materials from the physical environment.

1.LS.2: Living things survive only in environments that meet their needs.

Theme:

Living things have basic needs that must be met to survive, including food, water, shelter, and space.

Objectives

At the end of the program, students will be able to:

· At the end of the program, students will be able to list the basic needs of living things

· At the end of the program, students will be able to articulate that a habitat is the place where a living thing can meet all of its basic needs

· At the end of the program, students will be able to understand that different animals need the right habitat to survive
