"The preservation of land could be one of the greatest legacies we as a community leave to those who come after us." - Brian Zimmerman, CEO, Cleveland Metroparks
You can help Cleveland Metroparks protect open space. During the past 100 years Cleveland Metroparks has grown from three acres to more than 24,000 acres. As Cleveland Metroparks looks toward its next century the Park District will continue to preserve and protect open space including land that protects rivers and tributaries and that provides connections for people and wildlife. Donations to support land protection may be made through:
- A financial gift to provide resources to acquire potential park land as it becomes available
- Donation of property in fee
- Donation of a conservation easement
- Life and/or term estate
