Donor: The Wiesenberger Family Fund
Tree Species: Sugar Maple
Cleveland Metroparks gratefully acknowledges The Wiesenberger Family Fund of The Cleveland Foundation as its charter donor of Legacy Tree Program. This gift supports reforestation in Cleveland Metroparks now and in the future.
In appreciation of the Wiesenberger Family Fund's gift to the Legacy Fund, Cleveland Metroparks planted a sugar maple tree across from Tyler Barn in Rocky River Reservation in memory of Marie and Bob Wiesenberger. This location is meaningful to the Wiesenberger family since it is near their home and they have fond memories of the joy the "drives in the valley" brought to Marie in her later years. It is also special since Bob worked for the W.S.Tyler Co. for more than 38 years.
