Ten Trails & Overlooks to View Fall Color in Cleveland Metroparks


Tinker's Creek Gorge Scenic Overlook, Bedford Reservation 
A gorgeous overlook that features tremendous views of the Tinker's Creek Gorge. The winding creek and steep hillsides boast a diversity of trees guaranteed to pop with color.

Chippewa Creek Gorge Scenic Overlook, Brecksville Reservation 
Visit the new Gorge Trail to see the gorge up close. The gorge-ous views of Chippewa Creek are stunning.

Mill Creek Falls, Garfield Park Reservation   
A must-see destination at any time of year, the tallest waterfall in Cuyahoga County only gets more beautiful with the extra flair of fall color.

Skyline Overlook, West Creek Reservation     
Trek the Lookout Ridge Loop up to the Skyline Overlook observation deck to take in a stellar fall color palette with distant but incredible views of the Cleveland skyline.

Squire's Castle, North Chagrin Reservation 
An epic destination for a fall hike! This 1890s stone castle is a sight to behold against a backdrop of beautiful autumn foliage. After marveling at the castle itself, head up the Squire's Lane Trail behind the building to access a network of lovely wooded trails.

Fort Hill, Rocky River Reservation   
Situated 90-feet above the Rocky River, the Fort Hill Stairs and loop trail provide breathtaking views of the color-splashed valley below.

Bunn's Lake, Bradley Woods Reservation     
A paved trail surrounded by sour gum and red maple trees, this walk is immersed in brilliant reds. A must-see every fall.

Sylvan Loop Trail, North Chagrin Reservation     
This trail tracks through an ancient beech-maple forest where 300-400 year old trees were once studied by Cleveland Metroparks first naturalist, A.B. Williams. As scenic as it is historic, Sylvan Loop offers great glimpses of fall color.

Berea Falls, Rocky River Reservation 
The cascading falls and historic bridges create a beautiful backdrop for the perfect fall photograph. The accessible parking lot and overlook make this the perfect stop for any park guest.
