Eastern Ledge Trail, Euclid Creek Reservation
This new 1-mile route features a mix of paved and natural surface trails, timber staircases, boardwalks and even a suspension bridge as it climbs towards a 130-foot-high overlook above Euclid Creek and the valley below.
Deer Lick Loop, Brecksville Reservation
Many visitors use this 4-mile loop trail to train for elevation due to some steep sections. Along the way, take a break at Deer Lick Cave, a peaceful place to enjoy nature’s past and present.
Squire's Lane Trail, North Chagrin Reservation
This 0.75-mile jaunt adorned by Squire's Castle offers a big elevation change and connects with the 1.6-mile Scenic Loop at the heart of North Chagrin Reservation.
Hatchet Ridge Trail, South Chagrin Reservation

Bridle Trail (north of Tinker's), Bedford Reservation
This 4-mile, one-way trek from Hemlock Creek Picnic Area to Powers Road will have you huffing and puffing up hills and hammering your quads on the downslopes. You'll encounter some of the most scenic vistas in Cleveland Metroparks along the way, should you need to stop and catch your breath.
Fort Hill Loop Trail, Rocky River Reservation
Climb 155 stairs to the top, cool down and take in the amazing views as you hike the 1-mile perimeter trail and descend the same way you came up.
Whipp's Ledges Loop Trail, Hinckley Reservation
While this trail is only 0.95 miles, the geology of the area makes it a rugged and scenic hike. Starting from Whipp's Ledges Picnic Area, you will hike up the trail to and around the large Sharon conglomerate ledges. You will encounter uneven and rocky terrain on your venture.
Mount Pleasant Loop Trail, Rocky River Reservation
Start at Rocky River Nature Center for a 1.5-mile loop featuring beautiful forests and a consistent heart-pumping incline to the halfway point. Enjoy a slow descent for your cool down on the second half of the trail.
Mill Creek Falls Trail, Garfield Park Reservation
Come walk this 2-mile, out and back trail by starting at Mill Creek Falls, Cuyahoga County's tallest waterfall, which drops nearly 50 feet. Then follow alongside Mill Creek upstream through woods and meadows teeming with wildlife in an urban area.

Hike or bike this nearly 5-mile trail that connects Lake Isaac to Lake Abram (9.5 miles round trip). Keep an eye out for interesting wildlife as you pass through unique natural areas that support countless organisms in the Big Creek watershed.
