Ten Trails to Explore in Brecksville Reservation
Wildflower Loop Trail
This short loop behind Brecksville Nature Center winds down along Wallin Creek. While it is not a difficult trail, it has plenty of steps to get your heart pumping on this 0.75-mile loop.
Hemlock Trail
Enjoy the 1.4-mile Hemlock Trail with its shady eastern hemlock trees and nearby sounds of Chippewa Creek.
Deer Lick Loop Trail
View a shale overhang known as Deer Lick Cave along this 4-mile trail that features several heart pumping elevation changes.
White Oak Trail Loop
Formerly a one-way out-and-back trail, the new 1.4-mile White Oak Trail Loop takes visitors off the flat ridge above the valley into the scenic ravines.
My Mountain Trail
Traverse this 0.3-mile trail to the My Mountain Overlook, a signature destination with views of the deep Chippewa Creek Valley below.
Gorge Loop Trail
The stone steps on this short 0.3-mile trail are a sight to behold, all placed and leveled by hand allowing you the opportunity to get right down to the Chippewa Creek Gorge.
Buckeye Trail
Sixteen miles of Buckeye Trail can be found within Brecksville Reservation. Pick one of many starting locations and enjoy some time on the trail!
All Purpose Trail
Enjoy twelve miles of paved trail throughout Brecksville Reservation and along Valley Parkway. The trail connects to Mill Stream Run Reservation and all the way up to Rocky River Reservation.
Ottawa Point Loop Trail
This 4.4-mile loop can only be found on Cleveland Metroparks mobile app. You will travel from Deer Lick Cave down behind Ottawa Point Picnic Area along the Buckeye and Bridle Trails with a 240-foot elevation change.
White Oak & My Mountain Trails
Combine these two trails and travel along the ridge top to the scenic vista of the My Mountain Trail. These combined trails have seven structures, including 300 feet of boardwalk.
