Join us in making a difference! Help protect gorilla habitats in Africa by recycling your old cell phones and handheld mobile devices. These devices contain coltan, a mineral mined in areas like the Democratic Republic of Congo, where gorillas live. By recycling, we reduce the demand for conflict minerals, keep harmful materials out of landfills, and support vital gorilla conservation effort.
While all sorts of electronics contain coltan, we are only collecting cell phones, smart phones, iPads, iPods, tablets, apple watches, adapters, chargers, mp3 players, handheld gaming systems, and headphones.
