Otters

Kibble is father to pups Budiwati and Bagus. At 14 years old, he is Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s oldest otter. Kibble is a great dad and does the majority of the nest building for the family. He can be spotted by his speckled face, thick tail and large body.

Bitzy is mother to pups Munti, Budiwati and Bagus. At 10 years old, Bitzy is shy and protective of her lot. She can be identified by a distinctive white streak under her chin.

Munti is the older sister to pups Budiwati and Bagus. Her name means “petite” in Tagalog in recognition of her small size at only 3 pounds.

Budiwati and Bagus are the girl and boy twin pups of the family. Budiwati is the energetic and playful pup while Bagus takes most after his mother, Bitzy, with a patient energy. Budiwati’s name means “wise one” and Bagus’ name means “handsome” in Indonesian. Budiwati can be recognized by her white tail tip and perfectly straight nose. Bagus’ features include a sweet, pup-like face covered by bright white fur.
