Rhinos

Dalia recently celebrated her first birthday and eclipsing the 1,000-pound mark. She loves to wallow in the mud while her mom watches on. The mud helps to protect her skin from sun and insects.

Kibibbi is mother to Dalia and daughter to the elder Inge. Kibibbi spends the majority of her time looking over Dalia and browsing her habitat.

Forrest is father to baby Dalia. As the largest of the eastern black rhinos, he consumes 18 pounds of grass hay and 14 pounds of his pelleted grain diet per day.

At 30 years-old, Inge is the oldest of Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s eastern black rhinos. She is mother to Kabibbi and grandmother to Dalia.
