OTHER PARTNERSHIPS
Orangutans
In partnership with the Kinabatangan Orangutan Conservation Programme in Malaysian Borneo, we are studying orangutans and their habitat in the Kinabatangan River forest, recreating forest corridors, and employing local people to address human-wildlife conflict and create opportunities for sustainable livelihood.
Snow Leopards
In partnership with Snow Leopard Trust in Mongolia, we are studying snow leopard populations across their range, and developing conservation solutions according to their ecology and dynamic with humans. By supporting the livelihood of the human communities that share their habitat, we are reducing human-wildlife conflict and protecting wild snow leopards.
Red Pandas
In partnership with the Red Panda Network in Nepal, we are monitoring red panda populations and establishing protected areas in the temperate forests of the Himalayan foothills. Through community-based education and sustainable development efforts, we are empowering local people to play an active role in securing a future for red pandas while strengthening their own livelihood.
Tree Kangaroos
In partnership with the Tree Kangaroo Conservation Program in Papua New Guinea, we are working with local communities on conservation efforts that integrate conservation planning, habitat protection and scientific research with capacity building and other activities that address community needs, including greater access to education and healthcare.
