The 147 acre Edgewater Park is the westernmost park in Cleveland Metroparks Lakefront Reservation. Edgewater Park features 9000 feet of shoreline, dog and swim beaches, boat ramps, fishing pier, picnic areas and grills and a rentable pavilion.
The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Cleveland Metroparks, proposes installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at Edgewater Park, located off West 73rd Street and the US-2 Memorial Shoreway, in the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County. The installation will include four Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFC) in the northern parking lot off Edgewater Park Lower Lot Drive. Comments regarding the impacts on the park and the proposed de minimis impact finding must be submitted to NOACA by March 17, 2026. Comments may be submitted to Allison Bunce: [email protected]
